The previous article ended pretty unexpectedly at 9:40 AM but I wanted to share all of the most important Corfu attractions in one article so I had to make that cut. That way it will be the most useful. I hope you liked the surprising fact about Greece too! πŸ‡¬πŸ‡· I think that maybe sharing with you a map of my whole trip with the best places marked in one place is a good idea – so here you go! πŸ—ΊπŸ‘‰πŸΌ I’M A MAP

Before I start let me just add that the order is the same as the order I visited all those spots. You might notice that in my pictures you can’t see any people besides me and my friend. You may ask why. It’s because we went there in March. Almost zero tourists. Most of them were with us on the plane.

1. Canal d’Amour

When we finally started moving without unnecessary stops, we arrived at our first destination – Canal d’Amour – around 11:00 AM. It was getting really warm at this point. Really warm for me back then was 26Β°C (79Β°F) in the full sun πŸ₯΅ But it’s worth mentioning that at this time of the year in Poland we had on average 3.2Β°C (38Β°F) πŸ₯Ά It was a pretty big difference for my body. As it was our first serious stop we were pretty excited. We started exploring rocks and a surrounding facility. I had to fight with my fear of heights when I went to the furthest point of the rock towards the sea (it was also the most narrow point). But I like to face my fears, especially when it’s so rewarding! The view was breathtaking. Or maybe that was some invisible strangler πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ

2. Cape Drastis

Tourists started to show up a little bit at this place. We met maybe five small groups of 2-4 people during the hike but it wasn’t bad at all. When we got to the end of the hike with access to the water we were completely alone for most of the time. The views were absolutely beautiful but as you will see it was nothing compared to the next spot. And to add a few more words – a hike requires you to make a few steps on wet/muddy ground so my recommendation would sound like this: try not to go there in your white sneakers like I did πŸ₯ΉπŸ₯²

3. Loggas Beach

After a short food break (an article about food in Greece will be there soon) we headed straight to Loggas Beach. That was the place with the biggest amount of tourists. There were even people in the water even tho it was pretty cold at this time. The way down can really impress and give you this majestic feeling of being a really tiny element in this big world. Calling it a “Beach” is a kind of exaggeration in my opinion. If a beach is a tiny place for 5 people with sand instantly and fully washed by waves then yeah, it is a beach πŸ– At the top of the cliff, there is a restaurant called “7th Heaven” with a pretty famous viewpoint – basically, a balcony made out of glass (along with the floor). Not recommended for people with a fear of heights. But when the sun goes down… it’s probably the place where you want to be to see the sunset. This balcony was basically made with that purpose πŸŒ…

4. Porto Timoni Beach

And now I would love to introduce to you Porto Timoni Beach which in my honest opinion was the best place on the whole island! 🏝 It’s not like every other spot because here you need to actually hike for like 30-40 minutes one way. Here I found out that I love to hike. Those views on the way felt so unreal. Too beautiful to be true. You also start the hike from the small village which has a very intense Greek vibe which I loved. If we visited in the summer it could be really hard to find a parking spot but also you would be able to see a lot of pink flowers in this small town 🌸 That was one thing that we missed because it’s pretty iconic for Greece.

5. Angelokastro

The second best (of course in my opinion) spot on the island. There we also had to “hike” with the use of the stairs but still, it was a pretty high climb especially since it was already pretty late and we spent a whole day traveling in the full sun. But views from the top were totally worth it! I will tell you more about Angelokastro in the next article.

Corfu is a really small island with a lot of cool spots, beautiful nature, and awesome weather. Probably a lot of you want to know my list of favorites sorted from the best to the worst. Ladies and gentlemen, I want to introduce to you my list – It looks like this:

  1. Porto Timoni
  2. Angelokastro
  3. Canadl D’Amour
  4. Loggas Beach
  5. Cape Drastis

And here you can see all the beautiful videos showing you more than just words and pictures, so check it out to avoid missing anything, especially if you’re planning to go there! πŸ‘‡πŸΌ
