Astonishing views, scenic roads, beautiful nature, breathtaking cliffs but also visible poverty, narrow roads, full of tourists, and dangerous edges. I guess everything depends on the point of view but I personally focused on the positive part. Before Greece, I barely left Poland. Seeing all of Corfu’s beauty from many different perspectives provided by very scary roads was something I will NEVER forget. It was my first time seeing palm trees in real life. Cliffs were giving me chills. Not to mention drone footage… But let me be consistent. Let’s start over from the beginning.

Catching sunrise over the sea

We woke up around 7:00 AM to make it to the sunrise. It was hard to get out of bed especially if you consider that we went landed way past 10:00 PM. Then we also had to get to the car, then to our AirBnB, then try to warm our place up (Greece in March is pretty cold at night), then clean ourselves, and finally go to sleep. When we started driving it was our first time seeing Greece during daylight and it literally made a “WOW” effect right after I closed the door of our apartment. But this can be seen only from my YT video. We even decided that it’s worth stopping for a while and admiring views from the road, standing next to all those seaside houses… We were so jealous of them. Can you imagine living with this view? ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ

But it was just a beginning of a beautiful day. We didn’t even arrive at our first planned spot and we were already in love with Greece. But without further delay let me show you what we saw when we get there

We were left with plenty of daytime and we had a lot of plans. We didn’t want to waste time so when we were done with the sunrise we went for quick shopping – it turned out to be pretty expensive, and VERY expensive if you have in mind the average salary in Greece ๐Ÿ’ธ

Scenic views on the road to even more scenic views

We were in shock when we left the store and hit the road. The route was so scenic that we couldn’t drive for too long without stopping to at least take a few pictures. At some point, we stopped every few minutes. For example, to take this shot of a cemetery on a slope, the small church next to it, or this break spot with a bench and bower.

The last photo here was taken at 9:40 AM and I already think I should end this first article. I think it’s the right time to share with you my thoughts on (at least for me) the most shocking fact about Greece. When we entered the room, the owner gave us a little tour, shared a WiFi password, told us about some cool tourist attractions, and… said that we are not supposed to throw used toilet paper into the toilet. Instead, we were supposed to throw it into the garbage can… ๐Ÿคข Personally, I consider that disgusting but after doing quick research it’s caused by poor pipes system, especially on the islands. So guess what I did. I did not use the toilet for the whole stay (over 40h) ยฏ\_(ใƒ„)_/ยฏ

There are more articles on the way and not only from Greece. Stay tuned and watch the video to fully see what the journey was like! ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ
